President JKMEF gets Mahatma Gandhi Lifetime Achievement Award

Jammu, June 3: Prominent Trade Unionist and President Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation, Sushil Sudan, has been conferred prestigious Mahatma Gandhi Lifetime Achievement Award by India International Friendship Society (IIFS), New Delhi in recognition of distinguished service.
The award was presented to Sushil Sudan by Justice Swantanter Kumar (Retd), former Judge, Supreme Court of India & Former Chairperson National Green Tribunal during a glittering ceremony held at India International Centre, New Delhi in presence of galaxy of noted personalities like Professor P.J. Kurien, Former Deputy Chairman (Rajya Sabha), Manhar Valji Bhai Zala, Chairman National Commission for Safai Karamcharis, Chetan Chauhan, Minister for Sports, Youth Welfare, Vocational, Govt. of Utter Pradesh, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, State Minister (Independent Charge) of Higher Education, Cooperative, Higher Education, Diary Development, Protocols Govt. of Uttarakhand, Justice Md Adbul Ghani, MLA & Chairperson Board of Wakfs West Bengal, Major Ved Prakash Member AICC, Aditya Shastri, Vice Chancellor, Banasthali and others who shared the dais during award presentation ceremony. Sudan was presented this prestigious award keeping in view the services rendered by him in the field of Medical Services and for betterment of Employees which he used to highlight at the different platforms. He has been actively involved in Trade Union activities since joining of service in 1989. He took active part in getting 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th Pay Commission recommendations for the employees of J&K.
