Jammu, June 6: Three days after the problem was highlighted in Early Times, Narwal continues to crave for potable water.
Locals said the concerned Junior Engineer PHE visited the locality today to take stock of the problem and assured immediate action.
"The rising temperature with each passing day coupled with non availability of water has made our life miserable. It is very shocking that department has not been taking swift actionto sort out this problem. When JE visited the spot today we told him that water hardly reaches at their destinations," they said.
"We live just half kilometer away from Jammu Airport and the area is considered to be developed in terms of basic amenities but we crave for water," they rued. |
