Let's join hands for Jammu's cause: Munish to people | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 6: Editor Early Times, Munish Gupta, on Thursday asked people to fight for Jammu's cause collectively. Carrying forward his mass contact programme in different areas, Munish told the people that they have to put their act together to make the politicians realise that they cannot take them for granted and nor can they seek votes by just indulging in mere lip service. "I have come to you people with a hope that you would repose your trust on me and give me a chance to serve you people," said, Munish, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an Independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency. He said, "Whosoever has come into power till date has not done justice with the people of Jammu. It's unfortunate that champions of Jammu cause have remained subservient to few people rather than highlighting the issues which touch the skin of a common man." Munish said that if he wins the forthcoming Assembly elections he would fight for the rights of his people and ensure that they get their due share. "We have to come together to turn Jammu into a better place to live and turn it into New Jammu. I cannot do it alone. I need your support and good wishes to challenge those who during all these years have just made tall promises but have failed to deliver," he added. |
