Man arrested for eve-teasing patients in hospital | | | Asif Iqbal Naik Early Times Report Kishtwar, June 6: The Kishtwar police has arrested a 48-year-old man for harassing some female patients inside the district hospital Kishtwar. Abdul Rashed Bagwan, son of late Ghulam Mohammad Bagwan, of Bagwan Mohallah, Kishtwar was caught by the cops after some female patients who had come to the hospital OPD for check up, raised an alarm over eve teasing and sexual exploitation by the accused. The accused person, said to be a habitual teaser of women, escaped from the hospital premises following the alarm raised by some women after they found him sexually exploiting a woman. But police immediately swung into action and captured him. While being shifted to the police station Kishtwar, he tried to escape, but was again overpowered by the cops with the help of some locals. Speaking to Early Times, Sarpanch Kulsuma Begum said she had come to hospital with her children who saw the accused harassing a woman. She said that after noticing his activities, some people questioned him and he told them that he had come to hospital for check up. But after checking prescriptions at the doctors' room, they did not find a prescription carrying his name. After being cornered, the accused escaped from the spot before he was captured by the police. |
