 SAMBA, June 21: Director Industries and Commerce (I&C) Jammu, Anoo Malhotra today launched plantation drive by planting saplings at DIC, Industrial Growth Centre, Samba.
Speaking on the occasion, the Director expressed hope that the initiative will go a long way in generating awareness among the masses about the importance of planting trees for mitigating the ill-effects of climate change besides lessening the pollution levels. Meanwhile, similar drives were conducted at SIDCO Complex Samba and Cadilla Pharmaceutical. Other officers present were GM DIC Samba Sansar Chand, AD I&C Mohinder Sharma, Functional and Project Manager of DIC Samba, Manager Estate SIDCO Samba, DO SPCB Samba, AD MSME Jammu Mohit and representatives of KVIB Surinder Sharma and Bahadur Singh. |
