Teachers resent dictatorial attitude of DDC Kishtwar | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, July 1: The Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar e Taleem Teachers Forum has condemned the dictatorial orders of District Development Commissioner Kishtewar conditioning the drawal of teachers' salaries subject to the production of attendance certificate from Sarpanches of the villages. The Forum has also condemned the alleged harassment and misbehaviour with teaching community of the district over this issue. In a statement JKReTTF Chairman Farooq Ahmad Tantray termed the order from DDC Kishtewar as dictatorial, unethical and illogical. "The order authorizing ignorant and illiterate village heads is an attempt aimed at maligning the image of nation builders which is never acceptable to teaching community". Tantray said that the order is against CSR and it can adversely effect the academic work in educational institutions. "Empowering politically motivated people will lead to undue interference and personal grudges with teaching staff in schools". |
