Jammu, July 1: The quest for a technologically aware faculty base was cultivated further today by the online examination of SCILAB by spoken Tutorial Project of IIT Bombay which was held at YCET on 1-7-19 for the Department of Electrical, Computer, IT, Mechanical and Civil. The spoken tutorial Project is developed by IIT Bombay and funded by MHRD. SCILAB is an open source, cross-platform numerical computational package and a high-level, numerically oriented programming language. The staggering success rate made sure that amongst a total of 21 participants, 11 faculty members qualified the online test in the 1st attempt. Er. B.R. Verma, Director YCET, Er. Nidhi Jamwal, Administrative Secretary YCET, Sandeep Pandita, Head Strategic Planning and Operations YCET, congratulated the faculty for successful completion of online training organized by IIT Bombay.
