| Father kills daughter in Laridora Sheeri, arrested by police | | | Early Times Report
BARAMULLA, July 30: In a shocking and heinous crime, father killed his own daughter in Laridora area of this north Kashmir district, after which the father informed locals and police himself, and police arrested the killer father, and recovered the body of the deceased girl from the nearby forest.
According to sources that, Javid Ahmad Khan S/O Rehamtullah Khan of Laridora Narvaw took her daughter along from his home early on Tuesday morning, after which in a fit of rage and frustration he killed his own daughter in the nearby forest area and dumped the body under shrubs.
Soon after the crime, the killer father called locals and informed them about the same and went straight away to police station Chandoosa, said sources.
Sources said that the father confessed his crime before the police and later got arrested himself by the police authorities, while the news about the sad incident spreads like a wild fire and pall of gloom descended into the village.
Soon after the shocking incident, police reached the spot where the killer father had killed his daughter, and searched the forest area and recovered the body from Kawharbala forest area, sources told early times.
Meanwhile a senior police official said that, they have registered a case vide FIR no 23/2019 under relevant section of law at Police Station Chandoosa in the instant matter.
During the course of investigation, officers investigating the crime learnt that Javid Khan had taken her daughter inside the forest area and murdered her (name with held) following an argument pertaining to the fixing of her marriage led to a disagreement.
Body of the girl has been handed over to her family members after completion of the medico-legal formalities.
Experts from FSL also visited the scene of crime to gather vital pieces of physical and material evidences in the instant matter; further investigation in the matter is going on. |
