Politicians creating confusion: Munish to people | Day 67: Mass Contact Programme Continues | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 30: Editor Early Times, Munish Gupta, on Tuesday said that politicians are trying to create confusion ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections in the state. Carrying forward his mass contact programme in different areas for the 67th running day today, Munish said, "Some politicians are trying to create a notion that they are the ones who are running the J&K government at present. They are doing so to make people believe that they are doing everything but the fact is that at present Jammu and Kashmir is being directly ruled by the Centre and its representatives in the state are implementing the decisions which are being taken in the national capital." "I request the people not to fall in the trap of the politicians, who during their stint in power forgot the common masses and couldn't find time to address the issues confronting the people," said, Munish, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an Independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency. He said, "I have taken the first step by deciding to contest the forthcoming Assembly elections. I can't promise moon and stars but assure my people that if I win the elections I will ensure that the voice of the common man is heard in the Legislative Assembly and the issues which he faces in his day to day life." Munish thanked people for their overwhelming support and hoped that they would vote for him in the forthcoming Assembly elections. |
