Doda, July 31: Deputy Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode today ordered an enquiry to verify the veracity of allegations of fictitious payments done in construction of Individual Household Latrines (IHHL) units in Doda, Bhaderwah and Thathri town.
The enquiry has been ordered in response to the news that went viral on local news channels, implicating a particular NGO for fictitious payments in construction of IHHL in Doda, Bhaderwah and Thathri towns, besides alleging that the Municipal Committees of such towns had engaged this particular NGO, whose credentials are doubtful.
District Vigilance Officer/ Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishori Lal Sharma has been appointed as Enquiry Officer and has been directed to furnish a report within a period of two weeks. |
