Jammu, Aug 3: Efforts of PDP president Mehbooba Mufti to mobilize all political parties of Kashmir to 'protect' special status of J&K was nothing but a gameplan to settle score over her arch rival Omar Abdullah.
After meeting of Omar Abdullah with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Delhi, PDP president was thinking tht her arch rival has secured points so she was waiting for the opportunity for establish one-upmanship in the politics of Kashmir Valley.
As soon as advisory to Amarnth Yatries and tourists was issued Mehbooba availed this opportunity to settle score over Omar Abdullah.
After addressing 17 minutes press conference she straightway went to Farooq Abdullah's residence with crew of media persons.
She later left to see Sajjad Lone-Peoples conference chairman, who lives in the Church Lane.
After meeting both the leaders, she tried to give a message that it was her initiative to a joint meeting with all the leaders and devise a joint strategy.
She was accompanied by some of her lawmakers. She spent almost 15 minutes at Dr Abdullah's residence. Later she left to see Sajjad Lone, who was a cabinet minister in her cabinet.
An erstwhile BJP ally, Lone is also angry over what is happening to Kashmir's special status. By the time, this report was filed she was on way to Lone's residence. |
