Jammu, Aug 31: On the directions of Sh. Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor, JMC , Adv. Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor, JMC, an awareness and practical demonstration regarding Solid Waste Management is taken up by members of Solid Waste Management team of JMC at Sec-2, Lower Roop Nagar of Ward No.66.
Deputed team of JMC given the lecture about the solid waste management and appealed to the residents that not use polythene carry bags. Please use jute/cloth carry bags and plant a tree for its surroundings. They told people that how to prepare compost from organic waste of the homes. People carefully listened and determined to take up such fruitful case in homes as well as surrounding people were shown container of Blue and Green colour to collect organic and inorganic waste of their home in separate manner.
These initiative are taken by the team of JMC to change the behavior of the people. Programme attended by Ashwani Kumar, Ved Pal Sharma and other team of JMC installed the banners and posters. |
