Kathua, Aug 31: One day Refresher Training Programme was today organized for Para Legal Volunteers and Retainer lawyers of District Legal Services Authority /Tehsil Legal Services Committee Kathua and Tehsil Legal Services Committee Hiranagar, here at ADR Centre.
The Programme was held under the guidance of Chairman District Legal Services Authority (Pr. District & Sessions judge Kathua), Pawan Dev Kotwal. In his opening address to the Para Legal Volunteers and Retainer lawyers, he apprised them about the object and importance of the theme "Solid Waste Management & Water Conservation".
The resource persons of the programme were Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Aarti Mohan and Inspector, Pollution Control Board, Narayan Thakur.
The Secretary DLSA, conducted the proceedings of the programme. He underlined the need to work on Solid Waste Management and water conservation for the betterment of the society. She emphasized that there is need to make ardent efforts towards Solid Waste Management and Water Conservation by all individuals. She encouraged the Para Legal Volunteers to work at the grassroot level towards this objective.
On the occasion various Social Welfare Schemes were also refreshed and the doubts pertaining to same clarified. |
