| NAUP for fast track development work in UT | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 31: Sandeep Singh President of National Awami United Party urged Union Government to fast-track developmental work in Jammu and Kashmir UT as already J&K has lagged behind on the development front from rest of the states in country.
As per press statement, he further advised Union Government for insuring the interest of people of J&K especially in the matters of recruitment and of purchase of land. He stated that the government must insure for bringing in certain modalities under which rule and Laws are framed giving preference to youth's of J&K in matters of employment because already there is high rate of unemployment in J&K UT
Similarly some restriction in accordance with the laws of Himachal Pradesh for purchase of land be made applicable in J&K UT. He also added that NAUP will always be in forefront to welcome the positive initiatives on the part of government for welfare of people.
He afterward forewarned Union Government and Governor administration that NAUP will not tolerate any step detrimental to the interest of people in J&K UT and if there demand are not meet then NAUP is ready o launch an agitation.
