Jammu temporary teachers demand extension at par with Kashmir | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 31: Jammu temporary teachers today demanded extension at par with Kashmir stated Vice President Vicky Saini while briefing media in Jammu. He said that the teachers were selected at village level purely on merit basis. Maximum teachers were PGB.Ed. and M.Ed. All are efficient for the post of teacher. Govt. disengaged us in 2015 since that time we are struggling for the continuation of our services because maximum teachers are over aged and have no chance to apply in Govt. jobs. In 2018, Govt. engaged 1590 teachers on the same pattern in Kashmir Division only. In March 2019 they were given continuation. We struggled a lot since five years, the Govt. gave us assurance but did nothing. He further added that the continuation of teachers of Kashmir is an open discrimination of Jammuities because the Govt. left us behind those who are fighting since 2015 and gave continuation to those teachers who from Kashmir division and appointed later. It means the Govt. want to give benefit to the people of Kashmir Division who are not in favour of present Govt, he further added He further added that as the government now created 50000 vacancies in J&K, so the government should absorb on those posts and give continuation to our services. |
