Kathua, Aug 31: In Kathua Tussel between district administration and Stone crusher units owners may hamper the Devlopment works in District Kathua and leave the workers high and dry.
As the Newly formed Crushers' Union has decided to shut down the operational works of crusher units in Kathua to resent against the District Administration.
The tussel arose after the District Mining Department earlier seized the stone crushers which have been running without licence under SRO 302 and later imposed a penalty of over Rs 14 crore on the crushers owners for illegal storage and furnished material.
During media interaction at Dayala Chak Hiranagar the members of association led by Subhash Sharma said that association shut down the operational works of all Stone crusher's in district Kathua due to step motherly attitude of District Administration besides they have support from samba and Jammu association too in their favor .
We submitted the memorandum to DC Kathua few days back and appraise him about our demands and still our demands were not mitigate so now we have takes this path so that attention of state government led by Sat Pal Malik could be drawn towards the issue.
The sources claimed more than 3000 People's were left high and dry who lost the jobs in crusher units industry including drivers, loaders, helpers, technical operators and this step of owner may also hamper major development works as well as routine development works in coming days due to the shut down of crusher units in Kathua district. |
