Sh. Mukesh Singh IPS, Inspector General of Police, Jammu Zone, today visited Kathua review Law & Order, security and Crime scenario in an introductory meeting chaired during his first visit in Kathua .
Sh.Shridhar Patil, IPS SSP Kathua, Sh Ramnish Gupta Addl SP Kathua,Sh Vikrant Sharma CPO, all supervisory officers, SHOs and other Police officers were present in the meeting.
At the outset SSP Kathua briefed IGP Jammu Zone about the Law & order , crime and security scenario alongwith other activities being carried out by Kathua Police in the district.He also highlighted measures adopted to strengthen security grid and improve policing.
IGP Jammu Zone in his first visit interacted with all officers during an introductory meeting , reviewed crime pattern of the area and issued directions to them to improve Police working and better public relations. Besides, IGP also emphasized to adopt measures to deal drug menace stringently and directed them to infuse extraordinary efforts to put kingpins of the drug smuggling behind bars. Highlighting prevalent situation across IB, IGP directed all the officers to remain alert and vigilant and adopt foolproof security system to neutralize any terrorist activity in their area of responsibility.
SSP Kathua assured IGP Jammu Zone for wholehearted efforts to achieve the targets. Meeting concluded with vote of thanks and resolve to serve people better. |
