J&K Bank's ATM near Budda Amarnath Temple goes defunct, people suffer | | | Sarfraz Chak Early Times Report Mandi, Oct 1: Already in light for many scandals and the defunct ATM of J&K Bank installed near the historical Shri Budda Amarnath Temple, Mandi is noting causing inconvenience to its users, but also forcing them to switch in the other banks for banking service. The ATM is lying defunct for last two months, the matter has been brought into the notice authorities of J&K Bank Mandi, unfortunately, no action has been taken yet by the authorities. "There are two ATM in Mandi town one is situated near Bus stand, while another is near the Temple. Now the only lone machine is catering entire load of the area, and those who were availing service of ATM near the temple have to visit Bus Stand for withdrawal of cash, it consume so-much time and also cause traffic congestion in the town as the road between the temple and Bus stand is very narrow and overcrowded", they said. Since the Bank authorities are not taking our demands seriously for last two months, we appeal to Deputy Commissioner Poonch to kindly intervene in the matter to get resorted the ATM as early as possible. |
