Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 1: The in-depth probe being carried out by the National Investigating Agency (NIA) into the terror funding case has broken the back of separatists in Kashmir.
According to the media reports, the NIA in coming days would be filing a charge sheet against Yasin Malik, Asiya Andrabi and Masarat Alam in the case. This has exposed the entire Hawala racket through which Pakistan was fuelling unrest in Kashmir by sponsoring terrorists and the stone pelters.
Recently a national news channel reported that it had accessed the documents relating to the terror funding case which revealed that the so called chief of the Dukhtaran-e-Millat Asiya Andrabi was in touch with the Mumbai attack mastermind and the JuD chief Hafiz Saeed and his two wives in Pakistan. "The documents revealed that Saeed regularly used to transfer funds into the bank accounts of Asiya Andrabi. Besides distributing the money among the terrorists and the stone pelters, Asiya was regularly sending money to her sons studying in foreign countries."
Similarly, Yasin Malik too has received huge amounts from Sayeed and other heads of the terror outfits based in Pakistan. "Even some Hawala dealers based in New Delhi were used by the terror outfits to pump in money into Kashmir," the news channel reported.
It is in place to mention here that the NIA had booked the former MLA with separatist leanings Abdul Rashid Sheikh (Engineer Rashid) for his involvement in terror funding case in August this year. "The former MLA is believed to have received huge amounts from Hawala dealer Zahoor Watali, who is presently lodged at Tihar Jail along with him (Engineer Rashid) and other separatists for their involvement in the same case," an analyst told Early Times.
He said, "The NIA has done a great job by exposing the Pak stooges who for their own vested interests had kept the pot boiling in Kashmir. Hurriyat hawk Gilani, Hurriyat dove Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and others also sail in the same boat as they too have received huge amounts from their bosses sitting across the Line of Control."
He said, "The bold steps taken by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government have proved to be a game changer in Kashmir and with each passing day skeletons are tumbling out."
An observer said, "Sympathizers of terrorists and separatists were running a corporate company in Kashmir. The company was being funded by the terror bosses sitting across the LoC and the handfuls of people involved in this business were responsible for ruining entire Valley."
