DODA, Oct 1: With an aim to sensitize children about their rights and protection under various enactments, District Information Centre Doda organized an awareness programme on "J&K Protection of Children from Sexual Violence Act 2018" at Government High School, Pranoo (Doda).
The event has been organised as a sequel to initiatives taken up by Director Information and Public Relations, Dr. Sehrish Asgar, for generating awareness among the children regarding this Act.
Sarpanch of Pranoo, Farooq Ahmed was the chief guest on the occasion, Principal, Masters and others were the resource persons.
As many as, 12 students from the host school participated in the programme.
Misbaa Naik, a student of class 10th form Government High School Pranoo, was adjudged as the best speaker while Syed Rumna of class 10th from Government High School and Karti Manhas of class 10th from Government High School clinched 2nd and 3rd position respectively. |
