| Shiksha Niketan School organizes awareness rally on perils of plastic | | |

JAMMU, Oct 1: Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar organized a rally to create awareness about the hazards of using polythene among the masses and to say 'No to Plastics'.
The rally was flagged off by the Principal of the school, Rameshwar Mengi, who was given a warm welcome along with the incharges of the school.
The rally was organized by the school management in order to contribute towards the efforts of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has given an extension to the dream of our father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi to make India clean and green .
Rameshwar Mengi, the Principal of the school gave his whole hearted contribution to make the rally a great success. He also threw light on the importance of the rally and the duties of a true and responsible citizen of the nation.
The rally started from the premises of the school and marched the whole surrounding area and was back via Satwari to the school at Jeevan Nagar.
All the students of the high wing along with their teachers raised the slogans and banners and moved in a disciplined manner there was a great enthusiasm among the students. |
