| JKTF deputation calls on DSEJ, raises several issues | | | | JAMMU, Oct 6:A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) called on Director School Education Jammu (DSEJ) to highlight the burning issues of teaching fraternity. The deputation led by Ganesh Khajuria, state chairman JKTF, drew attention of Director School Education Anuradha Gupta towards various demands of teachers including non drawal of salaries by Masters working as Head Teachers in the erstwhile SSA upgraded Middle Schools for the last several months, repatriation of all the lecturers, headmasters and masters working in the hard zones and far flung areas since the last 3 to 6 years and expediting process of regularization and confirmation of all the cadres of the Education department who are promoted/ elevated to the next higher cadres I.e., from class IV to Lab Asstt, Junior Asstt, Teachers, Masters, I/C Lecturers, Headmasters, ZEOs and others on fast track before October 31so that their rightful dues are cleared as they are suffering a great financial loss. The Director School Education after listening to the demands put forth by the chairman on the spot issued directions to the concerned officials for the redressal of certain issues within her competency and assured the deputation that the remaining demands which were out of her competency will be sorted out before October 18 as she is going to Srinagar on October 9 with the hope that the rest of the demands will be fulfilled before Diwali. |
