Early Times Report

Jammu, Oct 6: Serious differences have reportedly been emerged with Jammu based leaders of PDP for meeting party president Mehbooba Mufti on Monday.
Credible sources revealed that during the meeting held at party office some leaders raised question over visiting Srinagar to meet Mehbooba Mufti. They said that party leadership has abandoned Jammu region and party was openly purusing separatist and anti-Jammu agenda so there was no reason to take any initiative.
Credible sources said that some Jammu based party leaders are not happy with the policies pursued by the leadership during the last one year especially after breaking of PDP-BJP alliance.
Credible sources said that recently a PDP leader from Kashmir Valley had visited party office and during interaction with Jammu based leaders he dubbed all of them as "traitors" for not holding protest against abrogation of Article 370.
Credible sources said that majority of the Jammu based leaders have shown their inability to go to Srinagar to meet Mehbooba Mufti because they were of the opinion that party has completely turned into a carbon copy of Jamait-e-Islami after demise of late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. Party leadership has been hijacked by communal elements- who are hell bent to fuel communal tension in Jammu province with one or other pretext.
Sources further said that most of the Jammu based leaders have already been sidelined by the party and some communal elements have given full authority to run show in Jammu region by humiliating some of the founder members of the party.
