Pak sponsored cross-LoC march yet another attempt to provoke India
10/6/2019 11:26:51 PM

Early Times Report

JAMMU, Oct 6: After failing to get any support from the international community, now Pakistan government is making another attempt to provoke India by sponsoring a cross-LoC march.
According to the media reports, the march is being organized by the banned Jammu & Kashmir Liberation Front and nearly 4000 people would assemble at Muzaffarabad, capital of Pakistan occupied Kashmir, and then march towards the Line of Control. "The organizers of the march are asking the people to cross the LoC to provoke the Indian Armed Forces," media reports claimed.
An analyst while talking to Early Times said that the march was planned last month but the Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan had directed the separatists and terror groups to postpone the march till he delivers his speech at United Nations General Assembly.
Media reports suggest that the marchers may include the terrorists and their sympathizers, who may try to infiltrate into this side under the garb of so called peaceful march. This could be one of the gravest provocations and it could lead to strong reaction from the Indian side. Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has already warned the Pakistan government about the consequences it may face if the marchers try to cross the LoC. "Indian Armed Forces are ready and if anyone tries to cross the LoC he won't return alive," Singh had said.
An observer said, "Pakistan by resorting to such actions is pushing the India to edge and is inviting our armed forces to wage a war. Our troops are ready and are prepared for it. If Pakistan keeps on resorting to such tactics then the armed forces would be left with no other option other than crossing the LoC to take control of the terror camps and the launch pads in PoK."
He said, "Pakistan is refusing to learn any lessons and seems to be hell bent upon digging its own grave by resorting to such tactics. By dancing to the tunes of Pakistan Army, the Prime Minister of neighbouring country is pushing the entire sub-continent towards the era of gloom and despair as the war can lead to large scale devastation and destruction."
Another analyst said that mobilizing people to cross the LoC is nothing but an attempt to push in armed infiltrators into Jammu & Kashmir so that they can keep the pot boiling and turn valley into another Syria or Afghanistan. "It appears that time has come for India to retrieve the PoK and settle all the scores with Pakistan once for all," he added.
