Conduct survey of differently-abled students | | | MS Nazki Early Times Report
Poonch, Oct 6: To provide basic facilities to differently-abled students reading in various primary, middle, high and higher secondary schools in district Poonch, several social organizations and senior citizens have urged the district administration to conduct the survey of such students and benefit them with the basic requirements so that they can continue their studies, sources said here today. They said that an over all survey is required to be conducted in all the schools of the district to find out the exact number of the differently abled students including hearing immpired and blinds who want to continue their studies but due to lack of basic facilities they feel it difficult to make the tiings to move. Though a private organization namely ALIMCO holds camps to provide a helping hand to such students but each and every one would get benefit remains an unsolved question. A deputation of differently abled students while taking to Early Times said that there were less efforts made to look into the needs of we people. As we are differently abled lot and we require different aids to continue our education in schools as we do not want to be dependent but with out a helping hand we are unable to make it a reality. Our humble submission to Government is that a proper surveyof differently abled students be conducted at district level and our requirements be made available to us for our bright future, they added.
