BJP's Appeals Hearing Authority hear complaints of organizational elections | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 6: Bharatiya Janata Party Jammu and Kashmir today at party headquarters held its second hearing of the Appeals Hearing Authority constituted by the party to hear the complaints regarding the Organization Elections. The appellate authority was presided over by Rajeev Charak ( State Vice President) being its Convener, Veenu Khanna (State Secretary and Prabhari Jammu District) and Advocate Hunar Gupta (BJP State Convener Human Rights Cell). The committee was constituted by the party with a point to promote and propagate the democratic process at the grass root level. As many as seven complaints were taken up for hearing in the meeting wherein all the parties were heard at length and were given full opportunity to present their case and to lead evidence in support of their cases. Out of the seven complaints which were taken up for hearing, three complaints were dismissed being non founded on sound facts and devoid of merits, one election to the booth was quashed and was directed by the committee to be re-held and three complaints were directed to be listed again on October 12 for the disposal of the same and the parties were directed to lead evidence in support of their claims. |
