| NCC day celebrated at GBHSS | | |

Jammu, Nov 26: In order to promote importance of NCC among the youth NCC day was held on 24th Nov. With this view following events had celebrated in GBHSS Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
NCC day celebration was began with the inauguration by Javed Shafqat chib (principal ) in which she made staff and students of the school aware about importance of NCC day.
As per the scheduled Calendar, second day activity comprised of Assistance to orphaage. Same was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Nodal Officer and the NCC cadets by visiting "Home for Aged and Infirm " at Amphalla Jammu where meals and sweets were distributed among those resided there.
NCC Cadets also became an integral part of "Traffic Control Day" as they controlled Vehicular Traffic at Gandhi Nagar and nearby area too by making people of locality aware about "Traffic Rules and Regulations "and Road Safety.
Students also took pledge on "Anti -Dowry "and "Anti female Foeticide " The principal of school highlighted the importance of women empowerment and acquainted the staff as well as the students about the same.
The entire event as per the scheduled Calendar were performed and concluded by Principal GBHHS Gandhi Nagar Jammu. |
