| SD Hospital Ramgarh sans ENT doctor, patients suffer | | | Gurdas Kumar

Samba, Nov 26: Sub District Hospital Ramgarh has been running without ETN specialist doctor for the past few months due to which patients have been suffering a lot.
Sources told Early Times that a large number of patients having problems related to ENT visit SD Hospital Ramgarh on regular basis but unavailability of specialist doctor is causing huge inconvenience to poor patients.
"The ENT OPD specialist room remain closed and patients have to return back disappointed despite the fact that Ramgarh has large population yet Health Department doesn't pay heed towards this issue," said patients including Babu Ram, Rita Devi, Janavi Sharma, Dharampal, Radhe, Suresh Sharma, Jasbir Singh and Renu.
They further said that the hospital administration claimed that there was no permanent post of ENT doctor in SD Hospital as it is available only at District Hospital so that it can't provide the doctor. "If there was no post of ENT doctor then how come that doctor was available few month back in the SD Hospital.
People urged that Lieutenant Governor to intervene in the issue and demanded him to appoint ENT specialist doctor at the earliest. |
