| Two months on, post of XEn I&FC Deptt Udhampur yet to be filled | | | Ashwani Sharma

Udhampur, Nov 26: Believe it or not-it is two months on and the Irrigation and flood control Department is running without an Executive Engineer (XEn) in district Udhampur.
Insiders of the Irrigation department informed that XEn Udhampur Rajesh gupta retired on September 30 this year. Since then authorities at the helm did nothing to appoint the XEn for Udhampur irrigation and flood control department.
A retired employee of I&FC department said while there are many of executive engineers who were attaches or free sit inside the department in different places of J&K, why some suitable officer is not posted as XEn I&FC department infect the State Government and news of transfers and postings emerge everyday in newspaper but on the till date the post of executive engineer of I&FC department udhampur is vacant the salaries of the employees of I&FC department Udhampur yet to be release for the two months even many of works related development activities in udhampur district will not complete without the sing of senior officer like as executive engineer means one post is vacant but faces every one like employees of concern department without salary for two month , people of udhampur who come in I&FC Udhampur for the resolve of some issues etc.
When contacted The chief engineer of I&FC Jammu divison Ashok kumar and said that within first week of December the Xen will be appoint for Udhampur district. |
