| Mushtaq Kak’s play to be presented at National Urdu Drama fest | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 27: West Bengal Urdu Academy, Kolkatta is going to organize 5th National Urdu Drama Festival-2019 starting December 7 at Indian Council for Cultural Relations auditorium. Renowned theatre director and Sangeet Akademi Awardee , Mushtaq Kak has been invited to in the prestigious Festival with the play 'Lamhon Ki Mulaqat' to be presented on December 10. The play 'Lamhon ki Mulaqat' is two short stories viz Poore Chand ki Raat and Shehzada written by renowned playwright Krishan Chander of Poonch whose Urdu renditions in short stories and novels matched the acumen of stalwarts in the field of Urdu writing nationwide. The play has been already produced by Mushtaq Kak at Urdu drama festival supported by Ministry of culture , organized by Ghalib Institute, New Delhi. The play has been designed and directed by Mushtaq Kak while dramatization has been done by Uma Jhunjhunwala . The play is being presented by Amateur theatre group. |
