Shaurya Education Society distributes stationery items among students

Jammu, Feb 3: In a function held at Government Boys and Girls Middle School at Rattian in Miran Sahib zone near here, Shaurya Education Society today distributed stationery items, including pens and notebooks, among students.
Speaking on the occasion, Harvinder (Vicky) Mahajan, Chairman of Shaurya Education Society, said in this competitive age, government schools need to work hard to reach the level of private schools in terms of quality education.
“Discipline, hard work and daily study are necessity of the hour,” he asserted. BDC chairman Dalip Kumar, who was also present on the occasion, appreciated the role of Shaurya Education Society and said, since poor are studying in government schools, they need every kind of help.
Kirtan Singh also spoke on the occasion. Besides parents, other people, including Krishan Chand Bhagat, Parshotam Mehra, Sunil Sharma, Camres David 'Babloo', were also present on the occasion. Headmaster Paramjeet Singh, Madan Lal Gupta, Sadiq, Sarpanch of Tanda panchayat, panch Sunil Kumar, Dr Bishan Dass, Madan Lal Sharma, Govind Kumar, Kartar Chand, Som Nath, Pritam Lal, Comrade Sarup Singh,
Paramjeet Singh and the staff of two schools also attended the function. Parmod Kumar, social activist and member of the society, conducted the stage efficiently, and also presented Vote of Thanks. Refreshment for students and other people, including parents, was also provided by Shaurya Education Society.
