| ADC holds meeting regarding prevention of CoronaVirus | | |  Early times Report
Rajouri, Mar 17: To discuss and review the preparedness, facilities available in the district to tackle any situation and also to create mass awareness regarding the prevention of CoronaVirus infection in the district, the Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Sher Singh on Wednesday convened a meeting with the concerned officers here in the Office chamber.
While speaking during the meeting the Chief Medical Officer informed that the isolation ward which was previously 8 bedded has now the facility of ten beds.
He also informed that the staff members of GMC Rajouri have been sensitised so that they can deal with any emergency in an effective manner.
He added that there is an immediate need for the establishment of a dedicated structure for isolation and Quarantine ward at GMC Rajouri to avoid the further transmission of infection.
While speaking on the occasion the ADC directed the EO MC Rajour for fumigation of entire GMC once in two days. Regarding the disinfection of vehicles, the concerned officer from Transport department has been asked for fumigation of the public transport for which the necessary spray material shall be provided by the agriculture department.
