AIBCU appeals govt to implement Mandal Commission recommendations
3/17/2020 11:06:34 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Mar 17: All India Backward Classes Union has appealed Union government for implementation of Mandal commission recommendations in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to press release, a meeting was held at Bishnah, in which the speakers reminded PM Modi that he had promised for the implementation of Mandal Report during Lok Sabha elections of 2014.
They also questioned the Prime Minister as why not all central rules got implementation in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir even after the abrogation of art 370 under which state OBCs must have got 27% reservation like their counter parts who are enjoying 27% due constitutional rights in all the states and throughout the country.
“This shows that prime minister has forgotten what he promised besides the made statements in the parliament over the abrogation of art 370 on 5th of August 2019 do not match with acts and rules framed for the reservation policy in union territory of Jammu and Kashmir which reflects that inspite of the abrogation of art 370, this art 370 is still in its invoking position inview of the reservation policy made public on 30th of January 2020”, they said.
