Early times Report

KOTRANKA, Mar 17: Commuters are having a tough time due to the dilapidated condition of a road in kotranka. kotranka- khawas is in extream bad condition. The dilapidated road has become a nuisance for the local as well as for those people who travell on this stretch. The local said Widening of road from kotranka to khawas was started in march 2017. But after almost three years Kotranka to Khawas road is not completed and is becoming bad to worse for vehicles. Some local drivers said as the area is hilly and due the bad condition of road it has become altogether difficult to drive vehicles on this stretch. Being the only road link for the commuters who used to ply on this road has a "nightmarish experience "to travel on this road. From children to old age persons all become victims of this road who have to pass through this road.
Particularly in rainy season it is very difficult to ply vehicles on this road and in winter when road is covered with snow and to ply vehicles here is like to play with death as road becomes slippery and chances of accidents increased. They appealed DDC Rajouri and LG to intervene in this matter and ask concerns authorities to complete road at the earliest.
