JAMMU, Mar 19: Retired Officers Forum (ROF) has thanked the Lieutenant Governor led administration for announcing health insurance for whole population of Jammu and Kashmir.
A meeting was held under the presidentship of ID Soni, while S. C. Rekhi, General Secretary said that in a major relief to the residents of J&K, including in service as well as pensioners, the govt. has accorded sanction to our long pending demand and deserves all the praise for the interest shown regarding Health insurance of the retirees including 1.25 crore residents of J&K.
"Since 2006, Forum has been pursuing with the successive governments about the revival of the Health Insurance Scheme but none of the previous government acceded to our requests and have been befooling the retirees community", they said. |
