Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 19: J&K Non Gazetted Electrical Employees Association (JKNGEEA) has appealed the government to consider the vulnerability of power employees, in view of Corona virus threat. According to press release, General Secretary Md. Maqbool and Secretary Gurmeet Singh expressed concern over the vulnerability of electricity employees who were dealing with people and nowadays and facing huge public rush to clear the electricity dues. "We appeal the government to take measures like fully sanitizing the offices of Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited, providing of handwash liquids, sanitizing equipments, masks etc to all the offices and also extend the Amnesty scheme at least for six months more and issue the orders to suspend recovery process of Electricity dues till the elimination of corona virus", they said. |
