JMC puts more men, machinery into service to stop spreading of COVID- 19

Jammu, Mar 26: To further intensify the sanitation drive and to avoid spreading of Corona virus today Jammu Municipal Corporation has put more machinery viz. Autos, Fogging machines, spray pumps, Motorized Portable sprayer alongwith 500 Ltr. Tank with chemical solution and Battery into service in presence of Mayor, JMC Chander Mohan Gupta, and Commissioner, JMC Avny Lavasa, with the aim to cover all areas falling within the limits of Jammu Municipal Corporation.
While addressing the safaikarmacharies and other sanitation field staff the mayor instructed that no area should remain un-attended in respect of sanitation, spraying and fumigation in view of corona virus outbreak, as this is the duty of Jammu Municipal Corporation to provide proper sanitation to all citizens of the city. The Commissioner also issued directions to the concerned officer and sanitation field staff for taking every possible measure for maintaining proper sanitation and added that Jammu Municipal Corporation has already undertaking sanitation drives, fumigation and spraying on war footing basis to avoid spreading of Covid-19. She further appealed to the general public to come forward and join hands with Jammu Municipal corporation in maintaining proper sanitation and also appealed them not to come out of their homes so that spreading of corona virus is stopped, as without the help of citizens it is hard to achieve the desired results and to make Jammu free from Covid-19.
