Ordinance Unit Rajouri rescues LoC villagers from Pak shelling | Diffuses live shells to protect their lives | | Ankit Kessar Early Times Report
Rajouri, Apr 17: At a time when entire world has been fighting against COVID-19 pandemic, but Pakistan has continuously been resorting to shelling in Indian side across the LOC in ceasefire violation. Sources informed Early Times that Pakistan lobbed mortar shells of 120 mm to this side targeting the residents of several villages at LOC, which have been causing damages to the lives and structures. Pak has been lobbing shells and using long range artillery. “Many live shells were recovered by the villagers, who conveyed the information to the Ordinance Unit Rajouri , which immediately took action by diffusing them by reaching there and saved the precious lives of the villages,” they said. They further informed that continuous ceasefire violation from Pakistan has been putting the lives of people living near LOC in grave danger and in such situation Ordinance Unit Rajouri has been playing very vital role in protecting the lives of the people from Pak shelling. Meanwhile in a forward post, Pak had made similar ceasefire violation by resorting to shelling thereby many live shells were found and subsequently were destroyed by Ordinance Unit Rajouri. People of these LOC villages appreciated the efforts of unit, which has been saving the lives of the people.
