| Militants lob grenade on Security forces, no casualty reported | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, May 2: Unidentified militants on Saturday evening lobbed a grenade on security forces deployed in the Tahab area of Pulwama district in south Kashmir.
Reports said that the suspected militants hurled a grenade on the joint team of Jammu and Kashmir Police and Central Reserve Police Force \deployed at Tahab Chowk. However, the grenade as per the report missed the intended target and exploded on the roadside.
“The security personnel fired some aerial gunshots. However there was no immediate report of any causality on either side,” sources said. A police officer also confirmed the attack and said that a hunt has been launched to nab the attackers. Meanwhile, two militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in Pulwama district in South Kashmir earlier today.
