KATHUA, May 2:- The Kathua District Administration has successfully managed to bring happiness in the lives of four children who were parted away from their family due to the lockdown. Among these four children, three are siblings and one belongs to a separate family. Two days before the first lockdown, these children, aged between 4-12 years got struck in their relatives` home in Pathankot district of Punjab and were unable to reach their home amid the imposition of lockdown. Their parents also tried but were unable to move from Kathua to Pathankot due to the restrictions of lockdown. After one month the matter came into the notice of District Child Protection Officer, Abdul Raheem, who took immediate action and directed the officials of Child Protection Unit along with the Child Line members to rejoin these children with their respective families in Kathua. |
