Oil & LPG tank truck drivers cleaners union demand package | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 2: All Jammu and Kashmir Oil & LPG Tank Truck Drivers & Cleaners Union, the representative body of drivers that carries essential petroleum products including Diesel, Petroleum, and ATF fuel has expressed its disappointment for excluding the drivers and cleaners from the Rs. 350 Crore relief package that is recently approved by J & K Administrative Council headed by Lieutenant Governor G C Murmu to provide relief to the affected section of the society due to lock down caused due to corona pandemic. S. Harasis Singh, Advisor and spokesperson of the union in a press statement issued here on Saturday said “All the drivers and cleaners like other affected people were quite affirmative of getting some financial relief from the J & K government but the U.T administration has reduced our hopes to ashes”. Singh also said that their organization is happy for all fellow citizens who are covered under the financial relief package but excluding the drivers and cleaners especially that carries essential petroleum products including LPG Cylinders is grave injustice.
