| TMF calls for strict monitoring of labourers’ movement | | |

JAMMU, May 2:: Team Mask Force (TMF) Chairman Rtd DC State Taxes Vijay Sharma has warned the administration of JKUT of dire repercussions if the movement of labourers struck up at the border of Punjab at Lakhanpur is not monitored, strictly as per the norms.
In a press release issued here today, Sharma referred to the media reports of visit of Advisor to LG KK Sharma & Chief Secretary of JK UT at Lakhanpur to take stock of arrangements made to ensure the movement of labourers struck outside the UT of JK. He further appealed to the Govt that unless foolproof arrangements from all point of view are not ensured no movement is allowed to be made. The formulae of IITT be adopted to avoid spreading the coronavirus infections in UT unlike neighboring state of Punjab. Rtd DC Excise &President of Trikuta Nagar Welfare Association and an activist of TMF said each & every individual labourers must wear mask and adhere to the norms of social distancing. Sharma said the administration of IITT which implies Identification, Isolation, Testing and later on subject to Treatment, if applied, would certainly minimize the chances of spreading of coronavirus infections. |
