Leakages in pipes cause water crisis in Bufliaz | | | M S Nazki EarlyTimes Report MENDHAR, June 14: The failure of Public Health Engineering department in plugging leakages in the pipeline supplying water to the Bufliaz area of Surankote in Poonch District has resulted into acute drinking water crisis in entire Mendhar and its adjoining areas. Residents of Bufliaz said that they are facing tough time due to water crisis which is mainly due to the unchecked leakage of water from damaged water pipes. They also added that the damaged water pipes are causing water scarcity in town which has paralyzed the normal life of the common masses in the area as the drinking water is prime need of a human being. Sarpanch Bufliaz (B) Tahira Tabassum Khan said that PHE department has failed to restore the damaged water pipelines in Bufliaz and other areas due to the reasons best known to them. AEE PHE Surankote Mohd Hussein when approached said that the department has pressed its staff and other manpower for repairing of damaged pipes and the water supply will be streamlined within a short span of time
