JKPCC OBC Deptt condemns no allocation of seats for OBCs in medical colleges | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 14: The OBC Department of the Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) condemns the Modi led Union Government for not allocating the seats to the Other Backward Classes (OBC) students in the Medical institutions either aided or unaided throughout India. Adv Suresh Kumar Dogra, Chairman OBC Deptt JKPCC castigating the Union Government for violating the 93rd Amendment Act 2005 by clause 5 in Article 15(5) constitution of India enables the state to make special provision, by law, for the protection of the rights of the SC, ST and Socially and Educationally Backward classes of students for their admission in all centre government educational institutions including aided or unaided private educational institutions, except minority educational institutions enshrined under Article 30(1) Constitution of India. Adv Dogra further stated that the govt. is also not fair with the legal and constitutional rights by not permitting to the admissions for the OBC students in the medical courses for the higher education in accordance with the Article 15(5) of the constitution. He resents and condemns for making allocation of 0% medical seats in All India Quota out of 27% are reserved for OBC students for their admission in central govt and state govt institutions for higher education in graduate and post graduate courses. The way in which the centre govt. is adopting the measures is the total killing of constitution of India as well as the legal rights of the reserved categories shall not be tolerated and these categorical classes peoples shall not forgive the unjustified, unconstitutional, and illegal behaviour of the Modi led centre government with them.
