GDC R S Pura organizes online quiz competition

Jammu, June 28: Online Quiz Competition on Topic Crystallography / Physics of Solids was conducted today at G D C R S Pura under the guidance and dynamic leadership of Principal Dr Sunita Sudan at 11:00 am sharp. Quiz contest remained open till 4:00PM. As many as 499 responses from students of more than twenty Government Degree colleges & various Private Degree Colleges across the J&K UT participated in the event.
Nearly Fourty three students other than Government and Private degree colleges of J&K UT participated in the quiz. Prominent among them were the participation of students from IIT Kharagpur and VJTI Mumbai.
Students of Cluster University, SMVDU and a research scholar of Mathematics Department from Jammu university too participated in the online Quiz Contest of Physics which was designed for the students of B SC Semester VI and open for all category of students interested in crystallography and desirous of evaluating their potential and retentivity.
Students scoring 60% and above marks were awarded the certificate of appreciation electronically by HOD Physics-Dr Jaipal Singh(Quiz Convener) duly endorsed by worthy Principal Dr Sunita Sudan. Dr Chetan Sharma was the Organizing Secretary. He Prepared the Quiz under the guidance of Dr Jaipal Singh.
Principal Dr Sunita Sudan appreciated the efforts of HOD physics in making the Online Quiz a gigantic success and for bridging the gap/distance among the students and College. She emphasized to continue this type of quiz more frequently in the larger interest of students who are really worst sufferer of this pandemic COVID 19.
