Prof Gupta condemns innocent killings in Kashmir | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 14: Expressing grave concern over the inhuman killings of innocent persons especially that of the social and political activists in the Valley by the terrorists, the former Union Minister Prof Chaman Lal Gupta said that it was crime against the humanity. Prof Gupta emphasized that dispensation at New Delhi must take note of the gravity of the situation and all out efforts should be made to force the perpetrators that there was no scope for such inhuman acts in a democratic world. In a statement, Prof Gupta said that the menace of killings is a part of the proxy war that Pakistan has launched for last over three decades and during all these years. The ultras have caused great harm to the human beings. About a lakh of innocent persons have been done to death and over five lakhs have been forced to migrate their native land leaving behind their homes and hearth. And thus, they have been forced to become refugees. He said that the time has come that Pakistan should be made to realize that enough is enough. This realization should come not only from the Union Government but all the peace loving and democratic world should be mobilized to act against the policy and approach and it should be made clear that there is no scope for any more tolerance against the inhuman acts of violence to disturb peace and tranquility. |
