| JMC mayor starts development works | | |

Jammu, July 14: Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation today visited areas of ward No 18 and kick started the construction work of lane just opposite Shahjahan meat shop Sarwal.
Arun Gupta Executive Engineer, Vijay Kumar Assistant Executive, SK Bhat Junior Engineer of Division No II and prominent residents of the locality were also present there during the tour.
Mayor said that this was the long pending demands of the public as locals especially children & old persons were facing lot of hardships while passing through this lane which is about 400 ft long and it will be executed with an estimate cost of Rs. 10.50 lakh only.
Mayor directed the concerned Engineering wing to complete the said work with best quality material and within stipulated time period.
Later Mayor alongwith Surinder Chowdhary Councillor of ward no: 29, also inaugurated the functioning of Green strip / pathway alongside of Ranbir Canal at Shakti Nagar towards Shiv Nagar Area. Engineers of Division- II & local residents were also present during this function. |
