| Under construction site of 1000 MW Pakal-Dool project declared Red Zone | | | ASIF IQBAL NAIK

JAMMU, Aug 28: After surfacing of fresh COVID-19 positive cases from under construction site of 1000 MW Pakal-Dool Power Project in Dangdoru area of Kishtwar District, District Administration Kishtwar today while taking effective measure declared Dam site of 1000 MW Pakal-Dool power project at Dangdoru some 60 KM from Kishtwar has been declared as Red Zone.
As per the order issued by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dam Site Swerbati, Dangdoru and Pinjrari of Dachhan Tehsil has been put under strict lockdown except relaxation to operate essential services, tight perimeter control with immediate effect has been put in place.
DC Kishtwar appointed 12 officials under the leadership of Tehsildar Dachhan to monitor and oversee the lockdown in the area beside to look into the emergencies if any arise during the lockdown period.
DC Kishtwar further ordered for sealing of all exit and entry points in the area. |
