| Langanbal-Pahalgam residents in fear as thieves strike in area | | |

ANANTNAG, Aug 28: Residents of Langanbal area falling close to world famous health resort of Pahalgam are living in fear these days since thieves are on prowl while carrying out anti-social activities. Residents said that in the past two weeks tyres of two vehicles were deflated and then stolen by thieves. The vehicles belonged to Mohammad Saleem and Ghulam Hussain, both residents of Langanbal. The residents said that they are in fear since the incidents of stealing have not taken place in the past in the area. The residents have appealed Station House Officer (SHO) Pahalgam to gear up and take all the steps to arrest the thieves. The residents said that timely action would help in avoiding further such incidents adding that thieves would think twice before stealing anything in the area. |
