Year on, SED leaves incharge teachers in lurch | Delays DPC, ignores directions of Chief Secy to expedite process | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 14: The resentment among the teaching community is brewing due to the School Education Department not holding DPC and regularization of incharge lecturers. Aggrieved teachers told Early Times that the J&K Chief Secretary had issued directions to expedite the process more than one year ago. “But officials have ignored his directions and have not complied with the order,” they added. Sources said that vigilance inquiry of all incharge lecturers for their integrity, work and conduct certificates were submitted in 2019 to the Administrative Department by the directorates of the both regions. “But department did not issue regularization orders and delayed DPC unnecessary and also did not comply with directions of the Chief Secretary. The CS had issued directions in April 2019 to complete the regularization process before 30-4-2019,” they said. “Not only this, even the final seniority lists all remaining plus 2 subjects and officer cadres including Joint Directors, CEOs, Principals, ZEOs, and headmasters are yet to be issued by the department,” sources informed. “The regularization orders of all 373 incharge lecturers /officers whose DPC was cleared on 15/7/2019 has not been issued till date. A file of 97 incharge officers and lecturers too is pending in HRM Cell for many months,” they added. |
